Our company has valid public liability insurance up to 2,000,000 and employer liability insurance up to 10,000,000 ( documents can be provided upon client's request).

During ongoing projects, we liaise with building control, structural engineers and other professionals to ensure smooth running of works.

We communicate openly and honestly with our clients, keeping them informed every step of the way. We always draw up contracts, stating stages of work and schedules of payments, ensuring the extra piece of mind. We adapt to our clients needs and we are happy to provide practical advice.

Sometimes building an extension to your house, converting the loft or just a fresh lick of paint could be a daunting idea because of all the work needed and not knowing which builder to contract. Here are a few steps to help you make a wise choice:

always check the builder against Companies House website - www.companieshouse.gov.uk - " find company information". As the UK's registrar of companies, it is the only official body that can give free accurate and updated information about a limited company, years of trading, directors and financial accounts.

ask for references and request to see some of their projects, possibly a visit to a site they completed or currently working on.

a limited company should be able to give you their registration number, vat number, as well as proof of their liability insurance.

when contracting a builder, ask them to draw up a written agreement/ contract with regards to the job to be done, total cost, schedule of payments and stages of work, so you know what to expect.
